Health Governance and Management

This programme is to highlight the important role that management and governance play in the health sector, leadership and management are of great importance in the health sector since they ultimately contribute to the highest attainable level of health system performance and thus good health outcomes for beneficiaries.

The focus of this collective action is to strengthen the management of healthcare services leading to better, more sustainable health outcomes The programme will introduce key management and governance terms, concepts, and definitions and provide an understanding of management in the public sector, civil society, and private organizations working in areas of health.
